I am Akash and I have just managed to get Mixxx built and running on my

Nice to have you join us! You'll find our development community to be friendly and working on Mixxx to be fun and challenging at times, yet addictive!

If you haven't found it yet, our Wiki contains all of the development information we currently have. http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php (Scroll down to Development Topics.)

If you want to jump right in while you get familiar with the code base, you could help translate Mixxx to your native language. Just visit our translations page on Launchpad: https://translations.launchpad.net/mixxx/ (Anyone can translate, so if you have non-coder friends who are also interested in Mixxx, that's a great way for them to help too.)

Beyond that, a few of us hang around in #mixxx on freenode when we can, so feel free to drop by at any time if you have questions or just want to chat. Then there's this mailing list as well for more formal discussions.

Sincerely,
Sean M. Pappalardo
