Hi again,

on http://www.mixxx.org/download.php and download for Ubuntu, it says:

> Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) and 10.10 (Maverick):
> Open a terminal, and enter:
>
> sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mixxx/mixxx

> sudo apt-get install mixxx libportaudio2
>

> This will install the latest version of Mixxx from the Mixxx PPA on Launchpad.

> Software Centre.

This is puzzling. Current version of Ubuntu is 11.10 -- so as a user my
first question was: Oh, up-to-date version only up to 10.10? Is my
Ubuntu version supported?

Moreover, the current version in 11.10 is not 1.8.0, but 1.9.0

Please update the text.

Maybe you should have a more generic text so that you do not have to
update whenever there is a new ubuntu release (which is easy to forget;)

Somthin like :

=========
The latest version of mixxx is always provided by the mixxx team:
....

Ubuntu also provides a version of mixxx, which, however, can sometimes
lag behind the latest version.
