have you considered the posibility of "voting"?

since there are three different algorithms you could run them all and
compare the results.

this will obviously use more cpu, but might be worth it for offline
analysis, since you'll be implementing all three methods(and potentialy
even more in the future) anyway.

Also, is a slider realy the best interface for this? wouldn't it make more
sense to have a dial/jog type interface that represents the circle of
fiths/camelot wheel?

i'm sure that you're already aware that the camelot systen is non-free,
what steps have you taken to make sure you don't end up coding nice
features that can't be included in a release? i'm pretty sure that the
claimed copyright is only on the renaming of the circle of fifths.

autoDJ harmonic matching sounds great, but reorganising the playlist is
quickly going to turn into a traveling salesman problem!!!!
