Hi,
In Bug #671632: "add multi level crate support" (
https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/671632), Steven Boswell proposed for
crates and playlists the ability to have more than one parent and Daniel
Schürmann agreed on that.

I'm currently drafting a blueprint for crate and playlist folders and smart
crates. The way I'm thinking about folders is that they are essentially
crates that show the contents of all its children together (tracks can't be
directly assigned to them). However, as they are thought as folders,
multiple parents don't make sense.

Could someone give me a little more detailed description of how multi
parent crates and playlists would work? Are there really practical use
cases for that? Would you prefer my approach or the multi parent crates and
playlists approach?

Kind regards, Ferran.
