Now that I've moved to DV capture for video work I've been using a program
called motion (motion.sourceforge.net) succesfully for a short while with my
Buz. I guess I just don't want to give it up - I've invested so much effort
and time into it. I've also very recently moved from SuSE 8.0 to Debian Woody
so some fairly major changes in things make systematic troubleshooting
difficult.
The reason for this posting: Motion now seg faults. Clearly that is unlikely
to be down to the driver but I have had to change so many things that it's
hard to pin down. The buz still works with xawtv -c /dev/video0 and with
lavrec.
I'm posting the driver debugging log in the hope someone can point me in the
direction of what is going wrong. This happens with 0.9.1 and 0.9.2 driver
