I did not have ksymopps installed on my machine. Now it is done, but I needed to recompile the kernel in order to have an adaped System.map in the /boot (wich I did not have I don't know why). I used this to eliminate the useless zoran drivers given with the kernel (wich I had compiled as modules). So I tried to reproduce the oop with new kernel. But here all went well. no oops at all. Just a little thing, wich we had discussed before : I don't succed to load the secam norm with your vpx220.c so I try to modify it in order to work on my system. Perhaps there is a line forgotten (:)) in the vpx3220_command function : secam case is not mentionned! Anyway even if the SECAM norm is selected, (there is color) the image is not stable, I don't know why : not fluent if the xawtv window is small, past image surimposed to the present image if the xawtv window is full-screen. What can I do to get this work? But almost everything else is OK for me : - colors are smoother than with the precendent driver. But if I try to modifiy I with the xawtv button, color becomes to much satured, and quite bad even if I move the cursor. It works : BW on the left, full color on the right, but with red 'flames' on the border. -brightness, contrast cursor works really good. Sory for my stupid kernel which oopses for nothing ! ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by:Crypto Challenge is now open!
