Hi, thanks for quick response ! Meanwhile I try to find out: It seems with xawtv I always used 16 bits, 44100 Hz and stereo. When I try something less than this with lavrec, it hangs. For now, I'm sure, 16, 44100, stereo always works with lavrec, too.
Maybe, with my sound card, there are troubles to reduce data rate ? Do you know a good sound card for this ? Fast with lower quality.
