I don't know if this is in the right place, but here it goes... I have the CVS version of mjpegtools, and the latest version of libquicktime. I'm recording from a composite NSTC source at -d1 resolution from a DC10+, (zoran 0.9.4), stero sound, full quality. However, if I use the avi file format, I have no problems with all the same options. Also no problems for -d12 or -d2 instead of -d1. Similarly, using lavtrans, bash-2.05b# lavtrans test.avi -f q -o test.mov **ERROR: [lavtrans] Error writing output: Internal: broken JPEG format when using a movie at 640x480 resolution. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with this, or know of a way around it (other than the obvious "use avi", "use -d12", or "lav2yuv|yuv2lav, lavaddwav".)
