Sorry about the long wait between replies Ronald. i haven't been able to replicate the output you wanted me to 'ksymoops'. i have no idea how i did it or what version i was using. this is what i have recently done. Alrite, i will try to make this as complete and informative as possible. i have a Miro card. It is a DC30D. This is the full ID string: "DC30D-601601-4.0". Here is a list of the Zoran chips found on the board: ZR36057PQC, ZR36016PQC, and ZR36050PQC. I'm using the Zoran-Driver downloaded directly from CVS at 3:30PM EST on Monday, September 29 of 2003. I've tried loading the zoran.o module by 'insmod zoran.o' without any extra options. i also tried the 'update' script given in the source. either way results in the card not being supported:
