Maybe we'll just Not directly - I've heard one or two favorable mentions of the DAC-100 over time but no where near as many (or enthusiastic) as for the Canopus product line. > return them to the dealer and get the Canopus boxes instead, although > they are considerably more expensive. The Canopus ADVC100 (which is a more comparable product to the DAC-100) is a _lot_ cheaper (about 1/2 the price) of the ADVC300. The ADVC300 is a much better unit (includes a TBC and denoising filter) than the DAC-100. I've been using the ADVC100 for a couple years now (the ADVC300 was not available at the time - it's a fairly recent product) and wouldn't consider any of the less expensive boxes.
