I am trying to get lavrec to work with the following command on my Debian Sid box:
lavrec --software-encoding -q 100 -g 720x576 -v1 -t 5 -ie test.avi It works fine, but if I end it prematurely with ctrl-c, it locks up and I have to kill -9 the process. There are no associated kernel messages. This occurs with the latest version of mjpegtools (1.6.2), either hand-compiled or binaries from Christinan Marillat's unofficial Debian repository. It only occurs on 2.6 series kernels though (I have tried 2.6.10 (binary) and 2.6.11.6 (binary and own-rolled) 2.4.27 binary does not show this behaviour). I am using the bttv driver for the Leadtek VC100XP (probed as a LeadTek WinFast 2000 XP). Using bttv debug, I get the following output with the lockup: bttv0: irq loop=0 fc=536 riscs=1, riscc=1de5001c, bits: VSYNC* HSYNC bttv0: irq loop=0 fc=537 riscs=1, riscc=1de5001c, bits: VSYNC* HSYNC bttv0: irq loop=0 fc=538 riscs=1, riscc=1de5001c, bits: VSYNC* HSYNC bttv0: irq loop=0 fc=539 riscs=1, riscc=1de5001c, bits: VSYNC* HSYNC bttv0: irq loop=0 fc=540 riscs=1, riscc=1de5001c, bits: VSYNC* HSYNC bttv0: irq loop=0 fc=541 riscs=1, riscc=1de5001c, bits: VSYNC* HSYNC bttv0: irq loop=0 fc=542 riscs=1, riscc=1de5001c, bits: VSYNC* HSYNC (fc is rising, everything else stays constant). Any clues would be gratefully received...
