I have the CVS version (sorry no 1.8. on my computer any more). And it
works there. The difference between the 1.8.0 and the CVS ist that there
is a different version of the AVI handling. In the CVS ist supports
large files.

I have executed the command the person did on the webpage, everything
worked on my Suse 10.1 (convert 6.2.5 05/02/06 Q16, and mjpegtools CVS,
gimp 2.2.10, imlib 1.9.14)

Can you send me the AVI that is making the problems ? (only up to 4MB
per mail)
