Because ist should only accept as norm pal/ntsc/secam. And does not work on my machine. That should activate the write mode instead of the mmap mode for audio playback. And normaly works. Normally mmap playback work well withous problems. Which version of the mjpegtools do you use. Do you see the -U option when you run lavplay ?
