That looks very similar to what I'm using.  The point is that there are 16 
scenes.  15 of them complete and return to menu as expected.  One doesn't.  
The chances of finding what caused this seem to be very small.  All I know is 
that if I run the 1-second fade as an extra .mpg instead of being part of the 
scene, it works.

There's nothing different at all between the xml for this scene and the 
working ones.  I've had a couple of knowledgeable people check the xml, on 
the chance that I was not seeing something problematic.  They couldn't see 
the difference either.   I hate mysteries :-)
