I've used
cat stream.yuv | yuv2lav -o track$i.avi &
mplayer dvd://1 -vo yuv4mpeg -ao pcm:file=track$i.wav
to rip from DVDs for years, always with good results. However I've now
upgraded to slackware 13.37.0 and MJPEG Tools 2.0. The avi files
suddenly have almost no colour and ghosting. Any ideas what may be
wrong, or how to decide if this is an Mplayer problem or an MJPEG
Tools problem?
