I figured I'd see what the EV-list comment drew for FB - jeez you guys need to edgycate yurelves on something beyond A2 A2A2A2.... there is more and someday YOU may need - hell decide you WANT more. Don't worry about me Brice I'm no moron - maybe a bit over the edge but no moron, I'll be back in a A2 ( corrado VR6 prolly) once my EV is paid off - couple years.

"yuppie moron mobile" oh man please, that may be true of most minivans - hell all minivans but the EV and *of the EV's* the multivan models and multivan weekender is a "swiss army knife on wheels" P-R-A-C-T-I-C-A-L and more character than all the other minis plus GERMAN styling just not performance ;-) > > BTW, do you also have a Volvo? No but I'd LOVE a 1995 T5R wagon - it'de eat up most of the cars on this list. > > Brice > family vehicle hater hehehe - even if it's a VW? No wait your new to VW - so your not really into VW's??? Oh that must be it. You'de like the headroom ;-) > WHAT NOW MORE????????.... now Son writes: > > Last year at the LA Auto Show I spoke w/ the sales > droid about the Eurovan VR6 and asked why it was > thousands more than the top of the line Sienna or > Odyssey. They knew it was overpriced. yes they did - even back in 1993 when a van like mine cost $36K new. (I paid $10K this Fall) VW knows they are pricey but also knows there is a small audience who wants a special van. > I've seen thousands of Siennas and Odysseys on the > road and to date have only seen 1 Eurovan VR6. Between 93 and 94 model years they only made 10,400 (+/- a couple hundred) Then 95's changed styling a bit - no 96's - 97 had them back, no 98's and back again in 99. VR6 came on to replace I-5 in 1995,97,99. No you won't see many on the road ( at least here in US) - I like it that way. > We need/want a minivan and would consider it if it > wasn't so expensive w/ much fewer features. "Much fewer features" ? aw come on - *COME ON* open your eyes - nothing can touch the EV on features go see: http://www.vw.com/eurovan/photos.htm Compare any Y2K mini to an EV Multivan(MV) or my fave the MV " weekender" and hands down the VW KICKS ASS. I'm not even getting into EVC's ( campers) because I don't see them as a wise choice for a young family ( less seating , propane on board, heavier) BTW many people on the EV list have picked up new 99 EV's for like $24K last Fall..... yah VR6's all of them - BARGAIN The Sienna > or Odyssey is on top of my minivan list... you got shit for taste > > Son Son Dude - WTF is a Sienna? sounds like a tasty dessert or flavored coffee? yah? Screw the odyssey? it's *NOT A VAN* it's a car. The first time I pulled up at a light next to one of those POS I laughed out loud ... HUH?? whys it so short? And tiny? and unsafe if you were EVER rear ended in one while sitting in the backseat that is about 3" from the bumper. EV MV Weekenders seat SEVEN adults and SLEEP FOUR adults, Comfortably. Find any other mini in the US that does that.
