I used to use Spectro Golden Motorguard in my "old" '90 Carat. My choice was based on a couple of EC articles in the early '90s and the fact that TT recommended it. Spectro is based in CT, and their focus was/is motorcycles. I used to buy it from Northern Imports, a mail order place in Plattsburgh. I think they were a front for a Canadian Mail order business. I liked it, but I just got tired of being tied to the mails for my oil. I used their tranny fluid too. I don't remember their being a night/day difference, probably because there was nothing wrong before I drained the OEM fluid (which I later discovered was synthetic). If TT recommends it I'm sure it's good.

Techtonics carries it in their catalogue. Any experiences? Comparisons between Spectro and Redline, or any other good synthetic fluids? Thanks!
