yes.  they do.  the only difference between the G and J is a shorter
roof and long trunk, or a longer roof and a hatchback.  thats why 2 door
jettas look so weird.  (my buddy's g/f has one in black, BTW)  

im not sure how different the corrado's chassis is, but it retains all
the same mounting points.  the only differences between that and an A2
are probably only exterior (i.e., the body panels, lights, ect.)  along
the same lines, im pretty sure the a3's have basically the same chassis
too (and hence, the same wheelbase, save for the slightly different plus
suspension cars)  its a little stiffer here, and a little heavier there,
but still pretty much exactly the same as far as the placement of major
components is concerned.
