I was wondering if any of the resident radar and radio people could share information about the possibility of getting cancer from all the waves we put in our air.
I read an article in a college newspaper about motorcycle officers who had a problem with testicular cancer. The cause of this was the very old and outdated style of radar gun which was not instant on... they were always on. The officer would rest the gun in their radar holsters which were near that area... I did go to an environmentalist whacko type of school so I don't know how reliable the information really is but they did print it... Anyways, with all this DSL, pager, cell phone (actually proven to increase the risk of cancer under very specific circumstances), FM, AM, TV, and of course, police radar directed straight at me, I wonder?!?!? I'm not a health freak but that article got me wondering. Oh, yeah, the 16v content... I took my car out last week twice since the rain started falling... I forgot how damn fast that thing is!!!! 158HP, 2050lbs.... it rips. I washed and waxed and cleaned everything afterwards..
