I am looking for oil pressures I should expect to see in a 2.0L
conversion (2.0 bottom, 1.8 Head) at different RPM ranges.  I read in
the Techtonics Parts book that "... older motors run at a higher
pressur, while the newer VW motors run 60 PSI, but will be as low as
15-20 PSI at idle...). 

 If this is so, the 1.8 pressure switches would always be going off at
idle..  Is there a difference in the 1.8 and 2.0 oil warning system? 

If anyone who actually has a guage that they trust, could you send some
verification of this.....
