This screams "urban myth", just like the rest of the lidar defeating stuff
i've heard before.  Chances are they will aim for your front plate, if you
have one... it's a nice flat surface that reflects pretty well.  Also note
that the beam is not _that_ tight- even at a range of a few hundred feet,
the beam is a few inches wide. By a mile, it's 30 feet wide.  A CD won't
absorb that much laser energy, and also remember... CD's are meant to
REFLECT lasers... otherwise the CD player would not be able to read it!
