I don't know about all this, but with stock gears, in 5th 1000 RPM translates to almost exactly 20mph. So, good luck getting your 16V past 140! ;) The "Big Mac" shape probably won't allow you to get going that fast without some major power or aerodynamic tweaks. My speedo was off by about 8mph across the board (the PO screwed it up, i think) and even with it adjusted, it still gets off by a bit as speed increases. I'm so used to reading the tach that I notice it. ;) -- John Caldwell [email protected] _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
