ok whats the low down, i have a 90 jetta gli and i have asked a couple
people who i thought should know, what i am wondering is if by switching to
the "G60 fenders and fender flares" found on the european and canadian
gti's, will i gain any fender clearence, are they wider than the stock gli
fenders.
the reason i ask is because i have a set of 17 x 7.75 wheels running a 40mm
offset and i would like to gain a little more room, at the outside of the
fenders, i've trimmed a little and some has rubbed off, but a little more
room would be great, will the g60 fenders give me any more room? has anyone
done the swap?
