Spray the filter with K&N's "cleaner". Let it sit for a few minutes then rinse the filter using tap water - reverse flow. (Make sure to do this in a shop sink or at least be sure that the SO isn't home when you use the kitchen sink)
Let the filter air dry - set it in the sun, wave it at your neighbors, whatever but DON'T use compressed air which could blow holes into the media. When dry, oil the filter with K&N's oil until the filter is nice and red --- [email protected] wrote: > I know I have asked this same damn question before but I do not > have access > to my old postings right now (in storage) and my filter is a mess. > Also, any > things I should stay away from like compressed air etc? ===== Matthew Yip [email protected] http://www.geocities.com/mgyip/ '87 GTi 16v - x2 '88 M5 '99 F350 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
