My car (1.8 16v Jetta) is acting really weird especially when it's raining/wet outside. When it has been still for a few hours or more it runs like it is on 3/4 power or something. After it is warmed up a bit, if I shut it off and start it up again it is it's normal peppy self once again. It was really embarrasing today when I was racing my co-workers Civic on the home commute, and I couldn't pull away from him like I should.... So, could it be the knock sensor, I think I saw these symptoms on the list before and that's what I think the consensus was. Is there any BTDTs about testing and replacing it other than at Jan's site? Dan B [email protected] BTW, I gave up that 16V Corrado idea, I drove a couple and they are hella slow just with the stock G60...I guess I'll wait for a VR6, or until I can get the financing for that sweet 95 Audi S6 that has been on sale for the past five weeks, with no takers so far...My luck, it will be gone by the time I get the money. _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
