I have a Dynomax muffler on my TT exhaust set up (cheapest option). I had
the impression that TT didn't sell crap. Well, lately the muffler is rattling
at 2000 rpm. It sounds normal (a bit loud I think) the rest of the time. The
system is only a year old. I live in the Northwest and corrosion is not a big
problem. Yes I looked at all the heat shield, rubbing of the exhaust, loose
hardware etc. everything is tight and clearances check good. It is definately
the muffler. I can tap it with a soft mallet and it sounds like something is
loose.
Is this a common issue with these type mufflers? I think a baffle is loose
in there or something. Should I complain to TT or am I a victim of you get
what you pay for?
