ack! Don't tell me that. My '92 has 130k miles and I've just begun to
think about selling it. Don't tell it, it will get mad and break
something!
Oh yeah, I'm thinking about selling my 16V as well, but that's only to
help buy a car for my fiancee. Heck if my Corrado is worth that little
I might as well keep it as a back up/fun car. oh yeah it already is
that. Right now I'm not driving either. I bike to work.

Josh, how much did you pay to have the timing chain guides done? Or
how much fun was it to do yourself? I'm planning on doing mine myself.

I just bought a 93 SLC myself. Mine is less than perfect condition, but
that can be expected with 165k miles! I paid $7500 for mine, and only
paid
that much because it's black/black.

Anyway, yes there are lenders who will do a loan on a 93, but a 93 SLC
is
only going to book at about $6000-$7000. You might have better luck
going
for a collectable/historical type of loan. I've found that credit
unions
are usually more flexible on such matters. I've also heard recently
that a
lot of Porsche guys finance purchases through some place called People
First (At least I think that's what the name was).
