FWIW, The full throttle switch provides 12v when closed, and the LED is lit up when grounded out. A relay fixed this easily. >I did a similar thing to my cluster, only I put 5 >dual (red-green) LEDs into >the bottom row, and wired them up to a DB-9 connector >outside the cluster. >One of them now comes on for full-throttle >enrichment. Anyone know if the newer models with radar >detector-detector >(VG-2?) protection are really all that undetectablabe? I was thinking about what to do with those 5 blank spots. After a few days of thought, I couldn't think of anything worthy of an indicator light in the cluster (other than the full throttle switch). I considered a high/low speed cooling fan light (which would be pretty useful I think, but annoying in traffic), a cold start injector light (letting me know when the fifth injector is on), and even adding a coolant level warning light (I dont have one on my early 16v). Certainly, a radar detecor is an awesome idea, especially if they are outlawed where you live. Denis G. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
