I realize this is a little outside the 16V realm, but I'd value your
collective opinions on suspension options for my A2 GTI running Corrado SLC
plus suspension and a 2.0l crossflow motor. After much debate, I've decided
to go with Koni double-adjustibles. Eventually, I plan on going with the
Ground Control coilover kit, but for now, (for cost reasons), I'll probably
use the current springs on the car, which are Eibach Sportlines (right
John?) My question is, which Koni dampers do you think would be best suited
for aggressive street driving, occasional autocross, and track use? I'd
think it would have to be either G60 inserts or those for a VR6 Corrado. Is
there any difference between them? Can either be installed in OEM A2 strut
housings?
