The Aktiv stereos had some sort of rediculously complicated amplification system setup. It was the higher end stereo option, like the Monsoons are (still?) now. The head unit also matched the amp design in retardedness. If something in your aktiv system quits working you might as well replace it with normal aftermarket stuff. Having a Fuba doesn't mean you have an Aktiv system.
