You think YOU have an oil mess... let me tell you about an oil mess. :)
One of the hoses popped off of my oil cooler on the FREEWAY... and dumped
3 fresh quarts of mobil one through my radiator and on to my motor!
(yeah, only 3... luckily I got it before it pumped all of it out.) Woo...
that three hours sitting by the side of the freeway will teach me to check
those hose clamps.  I wouldn't worry too much about it... steam cleaning
would definitely be nice.  Some simple green and one of those cheezy
carwashes would probably work ok as a substitute, too.  Just make sure you
cover the distributor and any other electrical stuff that really sticks
out with some plastic bags and leave the car running while you do it.
