I was wondering if any of you stereo aficianado's can email me off-list about an install problem I am having. Basically I am trying to run an Alpine CDM-7854 deck with 5 or 6 speakers (either one in the dash or 2, with 2 door and 2 1/4 panel speakers) My problem is that running 6 gives me an odd impedance, and the head unit clips. I was curious if I can run the 4 door speakers (2 on front channel, 2 on rear) with a floatinf center front speaker, I.E> + from the left front channel and - from the front right channel, will this work? Thanks.
