- I disagree with that.  The mainshaft bushing lasts a decent amount of time 
for me.  The golf ball, I have an easy solution for that: coat it in epoxy.  
It'll last twice as long.
For me, the part of the shifting that the Komposit kit eliminates IS the 
sloppiest part.  Those two white bushings and that "double-L" bracket are 
what cause most of the side to side play in the shifter.  I wrote about it on 
my site.
