Mark... I know if no higher intensity bulbs for the Mag, but I do know that my 3-D cell mag lite pails in comparison to my friends rechargeable Mag Lite. It retails for around $80, but puts out 3x the light. I've compared them side-by-side....my 3-D cell with new batteries, and his rechargeable with a less than full charge....his was still brighter!
