Does anyone have an idea what might be causing the fan after-run to stay on for over half an hour? The car is not particularly hot and the fan just keeps on going. I've disconnected the after-run switch on the head and it doesn't turn the fan off. The only thing that works is disconnecting the fan itself. When I do this and re-connect the fan it stays off. The problem is not on my GTI, it's my Passat. Any ideas? Is there a relay for this that might be sticking closed?
