Hello all,

Well the time has finally come for me to move on to a different machine so
my beloved GTI is for sale- yellow fenders and all.

This is EXTREMELY difficult for me to write as I have put a lot of my heart
and soul into the car, but now that I am single and I have a real desire for
RWD, it just does not make sense to have 3 cars and a bike for one driver
(unless you are Matt). Plus I have made a BUNCH of really good friends on
the list and will miss you all very much.

Anyway, the car is in the SF Bay Area and I am asking $3500 FIRM for the car
without the stereo and $4000 with the spare motor and $4200 for the car with
the motor and rims with wasted Kuhmos on them. I will NOT part out the car
as I won't make much more and it is a PITA.

The list of mods is LONG:
-Manual Recaros from a GLI
-Votex console with Oil Pressure, and 2 battery gauges
-Ground controls with 450 front and 400 rear spring rates
-Tokico 5 way shocks
-VR6 strut bearings
-Neuspeed Stainless brake lines
-ATE Powerdiscs
-Porterfield Carbon Kevlar pads up front and Ferrodos in the rear
-Neuspeed 25mm front and 28mm rear sway bars
-Neuspeed strut brace in front and triangulated rear brace
-Momo Corse steering wheel
-Momo Race shift knob
-Momo Corse pedals
-K&N Filter

Parts that have been replaced for maintenance:
-Both half shafts
-front wheel bearings
-Master cylinder
-Distributor
-Power steering reservoir
-fuel pump housing
-transfer pump
-alternator
-SP8000s with most of their life in them
-shift bushings

And various other miscellaneous items as well. I had an alignment done
recently and got -1.7 camber out of it. The car needs nothing and runs
perfect. This motor has 182k on the clock and the spare has 7k original
miles on it and never been installed in this car.

Let me know off list if you know anyone or are interested yourself.

Brice
