I heard about the demise of Greg's car but wasn't present for the unfortunate happenings - I had to work that weekend and missed the race. I think Glenn Ty (on Vortex if nowhere else) knows the details. From what I've been told, the car was bent all over BUT that Greg didn't want a tremendous amount of money for the car - $3K?
In any case, it's racing - shit happens. I totaled a car when someone spun in front of me and then he "collected" me as I passed. Another racer with a 16v Scirocco totaled his car when a similar incident happened. Those are the risks that go along with the massive adrenaline rush. In Greg's case, it too bad that he couldn't fix it. --- [email protected] wrote: > Hey Guys, Has anyone in here evr heard of Greg Shaffer?
