Sorry, this is slightly OT:
My '86 Scirocco 8v is missing the alternator bolt that goes on the pivot
point. ie, the one that supports the weight of the alternator. The
adjustment bolt on top is all that is holding it in place, and I have to
drive the car some distance at 2:00 this afternoon.
Does anyone know the size/thread of this bolt so I can go buy the right
one?
