Actually the AVSi isn't discontinued, per a conversation I had with the AVS guy at Oktoberfest. It's just that Tire Rack thinks it's "old" and chooses not to carry it much any more. It is an older design but still a great one, esp. for the closeout price. AVS is working on some sort of repalcement/revamping of their tire lineup, esp. a new track tire. (A032r being somewhat of a disappointment)
