Never heard of a 6K engine code. I just did the swap from a 2.0 to a 1.8(2.0 died) there are slight differences. I don't know what the manual says but consensus on the list is that the 2.0 (Motronic) runs a higher fuel pressure, the injectors open @ a higher pressure. If you run all CIS-E components you shouldn't have any "conflicts", I've never seen one but I think the module is a good idea. I had stock CIS-E and a lot of problems w/the 2.0(I bought it pretty hacked up though). I just got it to idle OK when I killed it, I never got near the redline w/it so I can't tell you much about peak performance. With the airbox and idle screw setup for the 2.0 the 1.8 idles @ 2300 rpm. Unless I have a really bad vacuum leak. Use as many parts off the 1.8 as possible, airbox, fuel lines & injectors, throttle body, idle stabilizer, the head if possible. That's about it. Good luck, Steve

So when going from a 1.8L to a 2.0L does any mods need to be done, in any case the oxygen sensor should be adjusting the mixture when he warm up. Would like to hear from different people experience.
