An A2 isn't the safest car in the world anyway...adding a CF hood is not
going to make it safer.  The metal one is designed to crumple up very
nicely.  The CF one will splinter and shatter and do all sorts of pointy
things that could cut you up and won't disipate energy.  IMHO, the hood is
WAY down the list of priorities.

The cold shouldn't be such a big deal, though.  Carbon fiber is fine at
those temps.
