If you can, buy a WHOLE water pump... not just the rebuilt side. It will
take you a lot less time to install. I just did this last night... if you
get the kind that does not include the whole housing, you have to scrape
off all of the old gasket (pain in the ass) clean it all off (pain in the
ass) use gasket sealer (you get the idea). The whole pump- you just bolt
it on.

It's pretty straightforward though.. take off AC compresor and alternator,
remove the belts, accessory bracket, and finally the 4 bolts that hold on
the pump.

If you're having trouble getting the bolts that hold the pulleys on the
water pump off, try this trick. Don't try to remove the bolts with a
regular allen wrench- use an allen socket!! Put the allen socket in, and
put another regular allen wrench in one of the other holes. slip a
box-end wrench over the allen wrench, and wedge it against the allen
socket. Then you can use the box-end wrench to keep the pulley from
turning while you are trying to get the bolt off. It's kind of hard to
explain, but if you just get down there with the tools and start fiddling
with it you'll figure it out. :)
