yes. you might have some trouble with the length of the injector lines...i'm not sure...we had the 16v lines available. all the other components (like the ISV and sensors) from the 8v work on the 16v, just in different locations. you'll need 16v plug wires, dist, ISV pipes, etc., but you probably have all of that. you can use the old computers, but you can pick new 16v ones up for under (usually well under) $50 for all of them, so you might as well get 16v ones. theyre not worth much, so dont let anyone screw you over. oh...does your 16v throttle body have an idle switch? if not, get a TB from any 1.8 16v or early 2.0 16v. i think you could possibly switch all the linkage on the TB's too, if youre masochistic. > Or do I > also need to swap the engine wiring harness? Maybe the sensors aren't all > at the same place, but I guess I could just adjust the wire's lenght. yep. use the stock harness, and lengthen or shorten (if youre anal like me) where you see fit. solder and shrink tube, please. its a pet peeve of mine... ben _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
