Hi gang,
I recently noticed that the right rear corner on my sunroof doesn't come
up anymore. I'm thinking there's a ramp or bracket(?) that came loose or
broke. However, I've never had a VW sunroof apart so I don't know exactly
how it's closing mechanism works. I'm going to look in the Bentley when I
get a chance and see what I can find out from there. Any and all assistance
would be greatly appreciated.
Of a lesser importance, I've been looking for a GLI 16V grille badge for
quite a while, and haven't had any luck finding one, if anyone has an extra
one(in good to excellent condition) that they'd be willing to sell, or have
seen any on GLI's in your local salvage yards, or know where to buy some,
please contact me privately. I've also been looking for all the cruise
control components(Section 14, Page 31 in Bentley, IIRC) for an '88 GLI 16V
1.8L CIS-E Injected. Thanks again.
