interesting factiod on allen bolts...the ONLY type of fastners we use on
our spacecraft are allen heads.  most of the stuff is size 4, 6, or 8
though (rarely, if ever, is there a 1/4" fastener) and you're really
cranking down on the screws when you get above 20 in-lbs.  ...so i guess
thats not a straight comparison.  still interesting though.  i think as
you get smaller, its easier to torque down an allen than it is a hex.  

the screws also almost all titanium (stainless steel is the cheap stuff)
and as a comparison, the 1/2" 6-32 screw you would buy at the hardware
store for 12 cents cost 8-10 bucks in titanium flavor.  

i had a bag full of 800 screws last week...
