Usually the adj cam sprocket, not only for vw, are +/- 4°, so I guess it's
plenty enough. If you usually need more than that, it's
because the cams you're using are pretty bad design. Cams that are made to
match, should be set together using regular procedure
but you still might need fine tuning. I would say, just check out the prices
and quality of each and go with the one that seems the best.
