Simple mods on Digifant cars do pretty well. Depending on how much money she wants to spend, and how she likes to drive, I would go the following route:
Mod the airbox(remove the trumpet) = Free TT exhaust = ~$200, if you stick with aluminized Cam(260 or 268) and adjustable gear = ~$150-200 on the cam, $75-125 on the gear AMS Chip = ~$300, eliminates alot of the digifant hesitation, and shows a nice power gain. And it's the only chip available for Digfant 2. ;-) The car should do real well with that setup. If more power is required, swap in a 2L bottom end. And if you do go that route, try to find a 3A as opposed to an ABA, as the tallblock can be a real PITA when it comes to switching stuff over from the 1.8L.
