Heat isn't necessary. Ronal R8s, just like early BBS rims are almost butter-soft. A good whack or two with a dead-blow hammer and they'll be straight enough for your purposes.
FWIW - I purchased a set of BBS rims for the Slorocco. Being true BBS rims, they're all bent in some shape or form. When I had the tire/rim combo rebalanced, my buddy at the tire shop beat the rims to relative straightness. They balance out OK, they're just a bit oval <G> --- Rich Blake <[email protected]> wrote: > I suppose this will work. Would applying some heat help or be a > bad thing?
