You can use a passat 16v tranny, or a G60 one, but I'm not sure a VR6 tranny will work. You'll definately have to switch flywheels and clutch setups. You'll also have to go to the hydraulic clutch setup and replace the pedal cluster and whole gearbox to install the cable shifter. That's a whole lotta work for a really crappy shifting tranny.
Stick in the 020 family. Much easier, cheaper and better. Throw in an FF tranny, they're a wide ratio 020. -josh --- Chad Rebuck <[email protected]> wrote: > What transmissions will bolt to the 2.0l 16v block? > I am looking for > something with taller gearing for my turbo > project... how about a Corrado > vr6 trans? > > Chad > > _______________________________________________ > a2-16v-list mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.a2-16v.com/mailman/listinfo/a2-16v-list > For list archives, see listinfo link above. ===== Josh Wyte Momentum Motorsports 508-833-3024 After 5 pm EST __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
