I agree- I keep wanting to post more, but just have been super busy. I get
a lot more information off of this list then I do off of the 'vortex. My 92
GLI has actually been really stable in the past year (hit 100K last week!),
save for a valve cover gasket leak that I've been trying to fix. Seems like
I get one part to stop leaking, and another starts again. I'm going to
start over this weekend from scratch (new gasket, obsessively clean
surfaces, use better quality gasket sealant).
I'd love to help out on a website. Know some SQL which might help for
making a searchable archives. Can also "borrow" some bandwith from the
website that I admin for one of my jobs (www.ritcep.org) if needed.. I had
an 84 GLI website up back in the day, but took it down when I sold the car.
Would love to be part of a good 16v website.
My current project is on the GLI, but not necessairily 16v related..car
came without recaros, so I'm starting to do some interior work. Have new
Potenza 730 mkIIs coming out to me in the mail this week courtesy of
tirerack, which will be a nice new addition. Old ones are shot!
